Glasgow Distillery Releases Three New Small Batch Bottlings.

Glasgow 1770 Calvados Cask Finish (Unpeated) 58.7%

The contents of a single cask, this six year old release from The Glasgow Distillery showcases their first use of French Apple Brandy Casks combined with their unpeated double distilled whisky. Initially matured in a first fill ex-bourbon cask, this release has been finished for two years and five months in a Calvados barrel to gain notes of fresh green apples, poached pears, baked apple pie, and a long-lasting nutmeg spice.

58.7% ABV, 270 bottles, 700ml.

Glasgow 1770 Manzanilla Sherry Cask (Unpeated) 59%

A five year old single cask release from The Glasgow Distillery utilising their unpeated double distilled single malt and maturing for five years and four months in a Manzanilla Sherry butt that previously held peated single malt whisky. Expect notes of saline smoke, plum, dried apricots, and tropical papaya, leading to tobacco,dark chocolate, espresso, and chamomile.

Glasgow 1770 Tequila Cask Finish - Triple Distilled - 55.3% ABV

The contents of a single cask, this four year old release from The Glasgow Distillery showcases their delicate and floral triple distilled whisky that has initially been matured infirst fill ex-bourbon, before a finishing period of two and half years in a Tequila barrel. Bottled at 55.3% ABV and with only 272 bottles made, this limited-edition release with notes of rich honey, lemon and lime citrus, honeydew melon, and milk chocolate.
