Fettercairn Whisky Expands into the United States

Fettercairn’s US Market releases

For the first time in its 200-year history, Fettercairn Single Malt Scotch Whisky will be available in the United States.

This major milestone marks a new chapter for the Highland whisky maker as it brings its collection of rare and aged expressions to the American market.

Founded in 1824 and nestled at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains, Fettercairn has become known for its innovative spirit, crafted with its signature copper cooling ring, an industry first that helps create the distillery’s light, tropical style.

The collection available includes five aged expressions, each embodying the distinctive character that makes Fettercairn unique:

  • Fettercairn 24-Year-Old (RRP $650)

  • Fettercairn 28-Year-Old (RRP $1,250)

  • Fettercairn 40-Year-Old (RRP $6,000)

  • Fettercairn 46-Year-Old (RRP $19,000)

  • Fettercairn 50-Year-Old (RRP $37,000)

Stewart Walker, Distillery Manager, and Thom Watt, Brand Controller, toasting at the US launch

Stewart Walker, Fettercairn Distillery Manager, said,

“Fettercairn has always been for those who embrace curiosity and appreciate exceptional flavours. As the appetite for characterful and rare single malts grows in the US, we’re proud to showcase what makes Fettercairn so distinctive - vibrant tropical notes, elegant complexity and a heritage of boundary-pushing whisky making.”

Andrew Lennie, Fettercairn Brand Ambassador, added,

“This is an incredibly proud moment for our whole team, bringing 200 years of Fettercairn to the USA for the first time. Some of the range we are launching in the USA includes whiskies that Stewart worked on when he first joined the distillery. It is a privilege to see them on the shelves and in the glasses of the most discerning American whisky fans.

“The five expressions we’re launching show the ways our whisky develops throughout the maturation journey, delivering an incredible depth of flavour. We're looking forward to sharing it with you."

Fettercairn Single Malt Scotch Whisky's core range is currently available in over 40 countries across the world.

About Fettercairn

Fettercairn Distillery was founded on Fasque Estate in 1824 with a completely unique copper cooling ring added to its stills in the 1950s. This innovation lends the whiskies a characteristically light and tropical flavour that has won international recognition. The core Fettercairn range continues to demonstrate this progressive approach to whisky-making and includes a 12 year-old, 16 year-old and a 24 year-old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky alongside limited releases and those exclusive to global travel retail.
