Ardnamurchan Distillery Hosting Inaugural Open Day as Part of West Highland Whisky Festival

Ardnamurchan Distillery will welcome visitors for its first-ever open day on Friday the 19th of June, taking part in the wider West Highland Whisky Festival, which brings together distilleries across the region for a celebration of whisky, people and the West Highland whisky scene.

Running from 10:00 to 17:00, the free-to-attend event will feature distillery tours, live music, beer and whisky bars, selected food offerings, games and more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive open day bottling, created especially for the occasion.

Admission is free; however, advance booking is required due to limited capacity. Guests are kindly asked to reserve tickets only if they plan to attend, to support event planning and logistics.

To make travel easier, a dedicated bus service will operate from the nearby villages of Acharacle, Salen, and Kilchoan, with return transport provided on the day. The bus can be booked via the distillery website.

Alongside the main programme, a small number of additional ticketed experiences will be available, with further details to be announced ahead of the event.

The open day forms part of the wider West Highland Whisky Festival, during which other distilleries including Nc’nean Distillery on 18 June, Tobermory Distillery on 20 June, and Oban Distillery on 21 June will also host special events, offering whisky enthusiasts the chance to explore a diverse range of experiences across the region.

This inaugural open day marks a significant milestone for the distillery, inviting the public to experience its hospitality as part of a wider celebration of West Highland whisky.
