Voting is open for the Online English Whisky Awards 2026

Inspired by the Online Scotch Whisky Awards and following the success of the first English Whisky focused awards, the 2026 voting is now live.

Fully community led and hosted by two whisky lovers with the goal to shine a spotlight on the innovation, craftsmanship, and passion driving English whisky to new heights.

For the second year, two more categories have been added to provide a greater celebration of the range of whiskies produced in England..


The 2024 Inaugural Online English Whisky Award Winners


The categories are:

Best Value English Whisky

One specific bottle of English Whisky that you feel provides you with the best value. This does not mean the cheapest but the one that exceeds in quality in comparison to the cost.

Best New English Whisky Distillery

Select up to three English Whisky Distilleries from the list of all active distilleries which have been founded in the last 8 years. Factor in: Distillery tours, marketing, range of whisky, quality, practices etc.

Best English Whisky Distillery

Select up to three English Whisky Distilleries from the list of all active distilleries to date. Factor in: Distillery tours, marketing, range of whisky, quality, practices etc

Best Bottle & Presentation Design

From the branding to the packaging, what English Whisky bottle has the best visual experience and presentation (select a single bottle).

Best English Whisky

The big one. Add in one specific bottle of English whisky that stands out to you as the best English Whisky you have tried.
